No claws were clipped

I had chili for lunch and that was the highlight of the day, since I had to cancel Sylvie's scheduled claw clipping because she wouldn't let me give her the calming medication.  Otherwise it was doing kitchen clean-up for all of the pots and bowls I used in making the chili. Fortunately it made three full containers, two of which are in the freezer for future use.

We've had another warmish sunny day here, which meant that I could open all the windows and let the apartment air out and get rid of the cooking smells.  Another walk outside showed me that this big rhododendron is getting ready to bloom.  It's a gorgeous purplish pink when the flowers come out.
