Wound up in Wexford

Korvapuustit

We had our first social (as opposed to working) visitors today.  The long standing friends of W who live in Rosslare cannot drive far, but some friends of theirs were able to bring them here, and then went on to visit the Kennedy arboretum.

B and P had a guided tour of the house and garden, and were then treated to home baked korvapuustit.

Their friends - S and T - brought rhubarb from their garden - stems to cook, and a root to plant.  B was keen we should become acquainted, as S is a talented musician - she has already been very helpful in finding outlets for my fluting.

We've also had workers here - T returned, as promised, and finished the electrical installation in the workshop.  And early this morning K rang - he is the electrician responsible for fitting our PV panels, and whilst we are still waiting for the concrete to "cure" and the engineer responsible for erecting the framework, K was keen to make a start, and today has installed the electrical stuff, including batteries and invertor.  Hoping to have the panels in place and commissioned by the end of next week!
