I Should Have Done This Yesterday

There used to be a carpenter on Blip (a real, furniture making carpenter ..... not a joiner calling himself a carpenter). He went by the name of "Chippy" but his real name was Richard and he was a gem of a gent.
Unfortunately he died  a year ago yesterday ..... quietly, in his sleep, doing something he loved - canal boating with friends.

A few years ago I bought this beautiful box from him. Everything about it is beautiful - from the wood and the immaculate joints to the 'hinged' lid with a hinge .... push the lid down at the back of the box and it slides open.
