Jedburgh PW#13

Mr P walked today from Byrness in Northumberland to some random pick up point in the middle of nowhere  below Windy Rigg on the border of England and Scotland; 24km.  Muggins here had to drive for about 7 miles on a pot-holed farm track, with lambs running everywhere, to collect him .  He arrived with  son R who'd driven down from Edinburgh this morning  to join him for these last two days.
I spent some time at Carter Bar, the border with Scotland in the rain because, would you believe there are 4 geocaches there and I needed to waste time. Apparently there are wonderful views , but not today!.  I spent the rest of the day in Jedburgh doing the sights and sheltering from the rain. This is 16C Canongate Bridge over Jed Water. The extra is my Border shot
