Shadow Fishing

Day two - fishing trip to the River Dee.

The sun shone, the river was low, the fish were nowhere to be seen. Fished for an hour, fell asleep on the river bank in the sun, with birds tweeting and river blurbling past at my feet.

The sleep lasted until lunchtime, when two more friends arrived and we had another great barbeque and several more drinks.

Fished again at dusk and Dave hooked a big fish and lost it. Wading back over the river in the semi-darkness was quite exciting, especially with the remaining beer and wine influence from the afternoon.

All my stresses and worries had gone by now. Bliss.

Credit to Kamran's image, which I have blatantly stolen. I'm not really that fat, it's diffraction and pockets full of whisky! ;o)
