Acrobatic and tenacious

This is most definitely not an insect but you have to admire the tenacity (and the stickablility) of this little mollusc as clings on to the washing line.

Yesterday, Susan removed the same animal, or at least exactly the same species from exactly the same spot on the washing line.

That line gives a clear idea of scale - and how small the little beastie is. It’s not the best resolution given the size of the snail, the movement of the line and an iPhone camera.

The afternoon was rather fraught. Doreen had an appointment for physio on her knee. The outcome of which was, after several years of believing her mobility problems were caused by her knee revealed that the pain may be hip related.

Getting Doreen and and out of the car was the worst we’ve ever experienced. She nearly fell from our grasp twice and it took all our strength to hold her up. That’s the last time we will do it ourselves, we will need to find alternative transport.
