Day at sea 9

Woke feeling stuffed up again but not ill if that makes sense. There are so many others coughing and sneezing, I guess we’re a captive audience floating in the sea!

A light breakfast followed by a wee bowl of chicken and rice soup at lunchtime. Great chicken flavour but only broth in my bowl!

We’d booked in to the Musical afternoon tea which is held in the Dining club restaurant and were seated at the sane table as last night. A pianist played, two of the show cast sang and the waiting staff wore white gloves. It was lovely. Too much food though.

Tea time quiz and bingo followed by my changing for dinner. I went to watch the show (Lovestruck) whilst Mr PHL chilled and sneaked out just before the end to meet him for a Kate dinner in the Italian themed restaurant.

The blip is the chart of our voyage up to Cádiz which is auctioned off with all funds raised going into the crew appreciation fund. We’d spotted a mistake in the date for Pinta Delgado and told one of the entertainment staff. I do hope they managed to fix it before the lady who won the auction paid over the £800 she bid!
