Orange Bag

Went up to Shoreditch this morning to collect a couple of prints for the next society competition. I thought this urban scene with the man was kind of reminiscent of LS Lowry who was the subject to the Arts Society lecture this evening. 

An excellent presentation putting a convincing case about how brilliant an artist he was. And yet I am still not converted to his work. I think I am missing something because a lot of the greats really rave about him. 

But very thought provoking and it generated a good discussion afterwards. So a good evening.
