Woody Wednesday (10th May 2023)

It was a Woody Wednesday without Refna as due to some slight miscommunication I hadn't realised she was working on another garden instead. It got me out into the garden in expectation however, and I set to work moving a selection of boulders donated to me by my next door neighbours when their use for them ran out. I used a selection of them to make a border around the vine patch facing the driveway (in Extras) and the rest were stored along the wall behind the car port for future use, in an area where I had previously tried to create a fernery without much success.
We had transplanted the ferns last year to another area of the Woodland Garden that should have been suitable in theory, but they haven't liked it there much either, so a new fernery was created as well in a raised bed in the Front Yard. A couple of the new ferns have just started to put in an appearance, including my blip, which is encouraging and the others may be moved there too if it seems a better bet for them.
