Dramatic and …. Unique

The scene this afternoon as a massive shower slipped away to the south leaving bright sunshine to light up the freshly minted leaves. We were fortunate not to be soaked by that, it skirted our area, as all they have done during the past three days. Surely our luck cannot hold?

Unique because this is the A20, the main road through the village and normally extremely busy at 5.00pm. Not a vehicle is sight or sound in both directions. Oh! for it to be like this more often.

This morning while Susan visited her mum I was busy in the garden and greenhouse, potting up tomatoes, sowing peas for peashoots and pricking out brassicas. All the time expecting heavy rain from the showers massed around us.
