I spent the whole day with my husband at Addenbrookes Hospital for some procedures to be carried out every hour on the hour. So a two minute procedure and then fifty-eight minutes waiting in the hospital. It felt like I had walked miles pushing a wheel chair as we went to different cafés, or sat in different parts of the hospital gardens each hour.

Today’s picture was taken at the far end of Addenbrookes and is of some screening with a bicycle rack behind. There were three of these panels and they provided us with a talking point as we ate our lunch outside. There were outlines of two male figures, but no female figures, which somehow annoyed me.

The temperature at noon today was fifteen degrees Celsius.
