Wonderings

We had a wedding today (one of Hubby's cousins). It was Little Man's first. He was the youngest guest present, though there were 3 other children there (a girl aged about 3 and 2 boys who were primary school aged). He found it all very exciting and was excellent. He got spooked by the applause and started to cry, so we had to slip out.

He's walked more today, under his own steam, than he ever has. He spent much of the late afternoon rushing this way, and that way, whilst I kept an eye on him. He had some spaghetti in a pouch and played with the food provided for the meal. We missed the speeches because he started trying to escape from his highchair. There was a disco set up for the reception, and he found the lights fascinating. He even did some dancing, which was more like attempting to stay upright whilst making large circles. It was hard work but a lot of fun.
