On my radio

We bought this radio a while back because we liked the "retro" design. It's so "retro" it hasn't got DAB, which is a bit of a drawback given how many radio channels are now only available on Digital. However, we can get Radio 3 on it and the 5pm mixtape has been given over this week to five of its presenters to mark Mental Health Awareness Week. Their choices have been inspired with a good mix of classical, jazz and traditional music. The wonderful Blossom Dearie singing 'Give him the Ooh-la-la' was one of Petroc Trelawney's highlights on Monday. And it was great to hear Bob Dylan's 'Boots of Spanish Leather' among Elizabeth Alker's choices yesterday. I haven't caught up with Georgia Mann's selection this evening yet but most certainly will. Highly recommended.
