Before the blood

After a lovely day at our friends yesterday we woke up said our goodbyes and had a quick browse through the shops of Ironbridge, resisting sausage rolls from the deli, gasping at the price of the Steiff bears, dodging japanese tourists and reminiscing about Brooke Bond picture cards we found in a vintage shop.

We headed home and got back to work on the patio. Things were going well until row 5 block 14, when the boy whacked his finger with a mallet!

There wasn't any tears but panic turned into feeling faint which then turned into watching the football, while muggings here carried on with the patio.

I may blip the severed finger tomorrow if I am struggling for inspiration.

Back to work in 10 hours, goodnight folks.
