If you can't beat them...

Centaurea montana "Amethyst in Snow"

A day of mainly sorting the caravan and making sure things in the garden are OK for while we are away.  Part of the afternoon was spent helping with preparations for the village plant sale tomorrow.  Lots and lots of plants, sadly we will be at the Lodge prepping it for next week's guests.

The blip is of a rather interesting Centaurea.   As you can see the centre is a lovely Amethyst colour with the rest of the flower snow white.  No prizes for guessing how it got its name.  It is the first bicolour Centaurea.
