The Gardener

We have plenty of these edible snails in the garden but we don't eat them. Who would do the gardening then?

Thanks to the dogs and a lot of work that I'm doing at the moment I'm tired out. I was just dozing off with a stiff cup of coffee when A and Z called round with their friend K who is visiting. I gave them a G&T but nevertheless they managed to leave after Z gave me my trousers back.

Earlier on I went for a prowl with the camera, and having inspected the onions and the garlic I spotted a young wagtail, some butterflies and wild flowers and this snail. I got a rather fine shot of the rain storm yesterday, but that was yesterday so it doesn't count.
