Lydgate Viaduct

The railway line from Todmorden to Burnley winds its way up a narrow valley and through a tunnel, beyond which is this viaduct.  It is Grade II listed and has 13 high arches. It was designed by Sir John Hawkshaw in 1849.
Mrs. MD lived in Knotts Wood, above this viaduct which she could see from her front door.....It features in my Blip of 10th January.
