On the beach

Proof of the swimming is in the extras!

I took an afternoon off so as not to feel pressured in regard to driving up here after lunch. After a busy morning indeed, with one of our key meetings which went well.

It's been glorious all day, all the way up here, and obviously it was truly lovely - if somewhat blowy - on the beach. And crisp in the sea, and somewhat bumpy. There was a nice group of Shandwick Swimmers there to catch up with, and the cottage, as is to be expected, is just perfect at this time of the year. Nothing seems to have died in the garden, despite the fact that it's been pretty dry since we were last here. We'll have to get the hose out tomorrow I suspect.
