Silage making

Busy day today with silage making starting early in the morning and going on into the night.  The JCB is weighing down and compressing the grass on top of the clamp while the tractor is pushing it up.  Hate watching them do this job as it looks so dangerous and steep.

Really hot day today.  Pulled rhubarb this morning down at T's - the young don't like eating it, I think it has gone out of fashion for them and they are not used to it so I eat it and give it to friends. R came over.
