Smells Like Teen Spirit

The first of three gigs on the bounce tonight, and we have a support act! They’re a local band called SPIRIT and it’s one of the other bands our guitarist and drummer are in.
They wanted to try a few songs before a big gig that’s coming up, so they played between our two sets. Some original songs and different styles of covers, it made for a bit of a contrast to our stuff. Their bass player plugged into my amp, as it seemed pointless him lugging all his gear in for twenty minutes!
It does mean it will be a late one tonight, but at least tomorrow is in Kendal, which means an early night for me for a change! Mind you, last time we did three gigs on the trot, I was shattered by the end of the weekend. I think a lie in might be in order tomorrow and Sunday…
