Castle Tioram

Luckily the rain had stopped and the sun came out. We went for a walk along the River Shiel along the fisherman's path to it's mouth.  A lovely walk but quite tricky, dodging between rocks and bog.

In the afternoon we went to Castle Tioram which could be reached by a sandy causeway when the tide was out.  We couldn't go in as it was fenced off due to the stone gradually crumbling but it's an attractive ruin in a beautiful spot.
