Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Stretch

A visit home to Wales would not be complete with a walk down to the river and then the circuit back via Brookhouse and Eglwys Wen.

The Sand Martin colony was active in the river bank and a little further along was a Dipper. There weren’t many butterflies about but I did see this Green-veined White along the abandoned stretch of the old Ruthin Road.

Then it bas back into Rhyl for a visit to my Mum, who seemed in reasonable spirits, and then the train home.
