Know your enemy

Another shot from the living room once more, this time of the local wildlife who have made the garden their own (much to Zoey's chagrin).

Whilst the rabbits are pretty, they make a hell of a mess in the garden, whether its scratching and tunneling under the lawns or wholesale feasting on the veggie garden, should they be able to breach its defences.

Needless to say, Zoey takes great interest whenever they're in the garden!

Rabbits are just a few of the pests we have to del with in the garden; we're also under constant attack from hares, quail, our own chickens (some call it free range, I just call it free-for-all) and now, pukekos.

It's amazing we get anything at all out of the garden!
