Marsden Rock

After a  very enjoyable weekend in Newcastle we took a detour on the journey home to get a blip. We went to South Shields and then down the coast road a bit. Took quite a few photos and rather spoilt for choice  not knowing what to blip so for anyone who is interested there is an album on Flickr showing more shots from South shields and Marsden beach where this shot was taken.  A lovely area would have liked  to spend more time chilling and exploring but food was required and we had to also get home. I was nice to see all the sea birds nesting on the cliff face including Kittiwakes see extra.
The journey home wasn't to bad a couple of stops for food and a quick break. A couple of fairly slow area where there was major roadworks  but home for 1/4past six  .
No food in the house so we decided to go out to the pub for food and drinks to finish off the weekend .
