Bike trail passing through Loveland

Wednesday
It was a rather hazy sunshine today, due to the distant fires up in Canada, but later in the afternoon it seemed a little clearer, and I took myself off to the nearby neighbourhood of Loveland for a walk on the bike trail. The Little Miami bike trail, which is over 70 miles long in total, and links up with others north and south, has led to the establishment of numerous eating and drinking establishments of various sorts as it passes through the neighbourhood, and the local government has put quite a lot into making it a welcoming area, with benches and seats, and then there is also Nisbet Park which adjoins it with its attractive bandstand and small amphitheater. I didn’t see much along the trail in the way of wildflowers or birds (although there were plenty to be heard) so I decided to do a collage of scenes through the centre of town.
