You Okay in There?

Dusty and Shadow are back, using our carport for shelter as they build and sit on the nest they've made on the shelves of our potting bench. Mourning Doves build exceptionally rudimentary nests so I imagine Dusty feels that the ceramic flower pot provides an upscale touch along with a bit of security and privacy. In this pic, Shadow checks on his mate (if you look closely you can see the tip of her tail feather above the rim of the bowl) before flying off to his perch on a nearby roof ... and the adventure (or so a little bird told me) continues.
