Dinosaurs

Loaded the car this morning and went over to the Museum of the Rockies. Turned out to be a fantastic place. The area around here is well known for dinosaur bones and most of the museum was dedicated to them. A large bronze T-Rex in the car park started the day and more of them were inside. Lots of triceratops heads as well. In the grounds they have an old prairie house which was rescued and brought over. It was open early as there was a bunch of school kids in and it was great to have a look around, reminded us a bit of the black country museum back home. There was also a great Leonardo DaVinci exhibition on as well. Headed into downtown Bozeman to get some brunch and eat at a very nice place called Jam! From there it was over to the airport to drop the car off and get our flight to Seattle. Turned up early, much to JA and J’s disgust as we had a long wait at the airport for the flight and they were bored. Arrive in Seattle OK and got a cab to the local Apple store to see about getting a new phone for J and AA. Turns out in the USA that the new iPhone doesn’t use a SIM card but and eSIM. With the voucher we have it wasn’t worth taking the chance that it wouldn’t work in the UK, we did get a mouse cheap though. Got an Uber to the hotel and checked in only to be given a room on the 2nd floor so when you open the curtains you look directly into the car windows of the traffic outside, well it’s a city view as promised but very disappointed. Had a walk around and found a nice fish restaurant around the corner to have dinner.
