TROLLEY DOLLIES ON SILLY SATURDAY

Hello Lovely Blippers,

You already know that Mrs. HCB is a little “off the wall” - well, we need to let you know that she is even worse when she and their lovely neighbour, Lynn, get together and it is often mayhem in the road in which we all live, but we daresay you are not at all surprised!

Yesterday, Lynn, who also suffers with back issues, asked Mrs. HCB if she would like to go out for a walk -she said they could take the four wheeled trolley - or Mo-Rollator - and also the three wheeled one and then Mrs. HCB could decide which one she preferred to use when walking outside.  Unfortunately,  the HCBs were going out last night, so they arranged that the outing would be at 10.15 this morning.

Well, at 10.15 they made so much noise, laughing and giggling, that the neighbours on the other side came out to find out what was happening!  I’m sure you can’t believe that and of course, Admirer would have loved to hear them and see all the funny and silly things that were going on.  Lynn had a bit of a job getting us all onto the three wheeler, but managed in the end.

Rik, the next door neighbour asked if they were safe to go out together and Sandra, his wife, who was decorating upstairs called out from the bedroom window that if there was a choice, she would like a gin and tonic!  How silly is that?

Mr. HCB was on hand to take photographs so we thought you would like to see a shot of him too - he is such a good sport and hadn’t been able to get out in the garden so early today because it rained - but not enough according to him!

They set off at a cracking pace and halfway round swapped trolleys - Mrs. HCB thinks that the three wheel one will be better indoors, but the four wheeler felt better on the uneven pavements.  They said that they saw some lovely gardens and had a good chat as they walked together.  We were surprised when they stopped and spoke to the postman and offered to put his bag in the four wheeler trolley - but of course, with all of us in there as well, there was hardly room, so we were glad when he refused the offer, but said he was grateful to them.  What a pair!

Anyway, they enjoyed their walk and have both said they will do it again and what was great was that Mrs. HCB said she didn’t have too much pain in her legs.  She is now resting and the sun has come out, so may very well go out into the garden and find a cool spot to read her book.

Take care and have a lovely weekend.  Mrs. HCB has asked us to thank you all for your lovely comments yesterday but please forgive her if she doesn’t always comment back.

Love to you all from
The Silly Saturday Gang xxx
