Open studio

It's been the Oswestry Open Studios this weekend. I only had time to visit one as I was there for quite a while chatting as well as looking at the exhibits.

One of the artists had a huge studio/exhibition space converted from a cattle barn.  There was a ceramics artist Caroline Pearce, a watercolourist Angela Scott and Lesley Fisher, a mixed media and acrylics artist that I knew from the Oswestry Arts Association where she used to do workshops.  Information is here.

The work on display was really inspirational and especially interesting to see their sketchbooks and how the work had developed. A small portion of the exhibition is in my blip. It's always interesting to see artists in their studio and discuss their work.
