Baby jets

Today has been a bridging day in Germany for many people, yesterday was a bank holiday and as tomorrow is the weekend then many places shut to bridge the gap. The children both had school but Mr K didn't (not that he ever has school, but you get my drift) and so he decided to torture me. A morning shopping for clothes for him and no stopping for coffee because "we don't have time" - do you see my eyes rolling?
Mr K had specific requirements on his shopping list - summer weight shirts & polo shirts that meet the "smart/casual" dress code he often has to suffer. The problem was that many shops are already in their summer sale and talking about getting their autumn stock in next week (seriously, that's what I overheard a member of staff telling a customer who was asking for cashmere, and who the hell buys cashmere in May?!) Then there's the problem of Mr K's height, shirts are never long enough - especially when he stretches to reach something up high - which he always has to do, especially in changing rooms to prove a point...
A challenging morning.
