The noise from the bathroom this morning was horrendous, so I went for a walk... it was still very grating when I got back but at least I'd had a rest. This afternoon it's quietened down a bit and I was able to concentrate on my book outside. 

Dale and Ben were finished by 4.15pm, having boarded all the walls and the floor - different sort of boards obviously - and they'd managed to scrape off the adhesive without ruining the floorboards. Hurrah!

I met Dale at B&Q and chose the wall tiles, pale, matt grey, plus some toning geometric patterned ones for the bath wall. He's going to bring a flooring sample tomorrow.
