Venice - day 5

Phew - another hot and clammy one today.  We walked to Rialto and San Marco and then on to the. Castello district to see if there were any Biennale art installations in the park.  There were, but rather strange this year I thought. In the collage in extras a UK entry can be seen bottom right - it was only one of two which could be touched and provided seating.  I thought it looked like a loo! It was so hot that we sat in the park for some time, then moved on to a nearby cafe in a very old orangery where we had a couple of lunchtime cocktails.  Storm clouds started to gather and the cafe owners started securing all the parasols.  I hate storms so wax keen to get back to the hotel.  It certainly looked stormy over San Marco.  Nothing seemed to be happening though so we walked back through Rialto and called in at a little place called Pulpo which specialises in boiled octopus.  Fin decided he would also have 3 scampi and 3 oysters - yuck! Main image. Then back to the hotel for a cool shower before another walk to find dinner.  Another great restaurant found - rather high end this time, but turned out no dearer than others we have had this week.  Will go there again.
