A day in the life

Lions tail

It was so lovely to wake up in my own bed this morning, knowing I have several weeks to myself where I can do what I please.

The garden has to be taken seriously though, most of my little organised spots has been overgrown with weeds so there are plenty to clean up. This little plant was given to me last spring and I knew it wouldn't flower until a year later. It's called "Yellow Lionstail" in Swedish, 'Phlomis russelana' in latin. It flowers in a peculiar way, first one set of flowers then two, three or more comes on top of the first one in little balconies. I expect some easy going days ahead, gardening, swimming, little renovation jobs perhaps and of course ice cream at the harbour.
