Botley to Hove

This is a late posting.

We had a leisurely morning, took the dog for a walk, had a light lunch, packed our bags and our hosts drove us to Botley Station to catch the train to Fareham, where we changed to a train to Hove.  It was sad to say goodbye as they’ve been exceptional hosts and looked after us very well.  It’s been a most enjoyable stay.  We duly arrived in Hove, where we were met by MrMacD’s son, G, and daughter, H, who walked with us back to G’s home.  We sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a bottle of bubbles together, then changed and walked to Brighton along the seafront, to a restaurant called The Salt Room.  We had a lovely meal together then caught a taxi back to Hove.  It didn’t take us long to say our good nights and go to bed.

Apologies, but I am way behind again dipping into fellow Blippers’ journals and responding to comments. There just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day at the moment.
