Busy day! Lucie decided to come and stay the the night here, so it was a late night. On the plus side, she walked Django this morning and made a huge vat of soup that will probably last me the whole week!  It was chucking it down most of the day, so poor Django had a short walk tonight.

The situation in France is quite unsettling... I had a discussion with a member of my family condemning the "gratuitous violence".. Of course, two wrongs don't make a right, but can't they see why people are angry? Can't they see that if you cannot trust the people who are supposed to protect you, who are supposed to represent justice and keep the peace, then it is not surprising that the fabric of society starts to unravel? Apparently not....
