Two Boat Pickup

This is the only boat we had for years…until grandchildren came along.   I’m quite fond of it…I called it  “hi ho silver “  .this is my first trip this summer as it had engine troubles which are now fixed… so off we went in two boats this morning to pick up #1 son Peter and his family…. Maple and the other 3 girls got the ride in the bigger Silver Streak. with the other half of the voluminous stuff.  Otherwise ( like in winter ) it’s two trips.      Such a bright sunny day for the start of the holidays…. Canada Day July 1 and July 4 for the US,   It will be busy..   Another boat with lots of family and bags left their stuff next to our boat at the marina … 3 bags were put on by mistake ,then taken off!   .  But we had a call from them asking about a lost bag of treats…yep, someone had  put it on our boat….that’s a first.   They came to fetch it from another island.  
Anyway, it was a good ride , me and Peter…here leaving Montague harbor with Parker island in background.  You can almost barely see the eagle nest on the electric tower on Parker with eagle .    Many boats in that little pass. Galiano on the right.  Family time for next 4 days….
