Spikes

At Trench Meadows there were hundreds of spikes of orchids. 

It was overcast while I was there but there were a few butterflies - mainly Meadow Brown but also Ringlet, Large and Small Skipper, Green-veined White and my first Gatekeepers of the year.

I caught a bit of the dragon boat racing in Roberts Park (extra) -  it always seems to be a very well organised and supported charity event.
