It's Mono Monday and the Challenge is Weather(ed).

This is called a gust front to the best of my knowledge.  It's the "weather" part of weather(ed).  We've been in a long drought with very little rain and a gust front like this portends the arrival of heavenly moisture.  Strong winds but, so far, no rain.  Promises...promises.

One doesn't usually hope for severe weather but at this point we'll take what we can get.  Fingers crossed that the threat of bad weather doesn't materialize but a soft, gentle 5 hour rain replaces it.  I can hear the local corn at night in a low whisper......waaater...waaater...waaater.
