Day at a Time

St Conan's Kirk

Left home about 09:30. It poured on the road through Glen Ogle but by the time we reached Tyndrum it had cheered up a bit. Coffee at the Real Food Cafe - always a treat - then back on the road to Lochawe Village. I don't know how often we've driven past St Conan's Kirk but today we stopped for a look. What an extraordinary structure. So many architectural styles all in one place. And of course a gorgeous setting on the lochside.

Now in Oban and sitting outside for a bowl of soup to keep us going. Our eventual destination is the lovely Isle of Luing where we stayed five years ago. Unless things have changed a lot in the interval WiFi will be slow to absent so my blipping might be even more sporadic than it has been lately.
