Early Morning Light

I was hanging washing out early and spotted that the Cotinus (red leaves) was flowering in the garden.  A lovely start to my day.

Followed by a tour of Wakefield yesterday starting at the Register Office, then onto the Housing Office, then to the Funeral Directors before finally meeting Glenys for lunch at Blacker Hall Farm.

By the time I got home I was pretty shattered an I watched a bit of the cricket and some tennis.  Most unusual for me - I was probably dozing off a bit too.

I took a camera with me but it stayed in the boot and I didn't think about photographs while I was in Wakefield, even though I parked at one of the most interesting historical spots in the city.
