Retreating from the Play Park

Seems to me that Edward was sorry to leave but the rain was coming on and George had to take his family to see friends.

We'd agreed to meet at Beacon Hill Lower Car Park and eat by the play area. However, the promised thunder showers struck. There was a thunderstorm this evening too.

It was supposed to be a celebration of mine and Len's birthdays. Couldn't be done next week because they're going on holiday.

Kat had made me some delicious fairy cakes as a birthday gift.

After the tennis tournament this afternoon which took place because the rain had stopped, Len fetched Basil and me to take part in the barbecue. See extra. The storm set in approximately one hour after we got home.
