A Walk Through Deb's Life

Nature can be Cruel yet Hopeful

The wind was too strong for the robin's nest. The babies are too young to be tossed from their nest. But this one is hopeful and the parent was twenty feet away with a worm in its mouth. So I am hopeful too. It's not likely that he and his two siblings will survive the night, but there was nothing much I could do. I nearly cried when he popped his head up like this upon my approach. I only intended on getting a shot of the fallen nest.

I felt like this baby bird today. I cried out and hoped for a spoon-feeding, but had to go it alone.
