Skipper

I went on a lovely walk around Kelling Heath this morning with A, G and H. It was sunny and a perfect temp of 22C for walking. We stopped at the Holiday Village for a drink - a cold apple juice in my case. This skipper was on what seems to be a favourite plant for it - Viper's-Bugloss. More tennis watching this afternoon. Well done to the amazing Chris Eubanks who was playing in challenger matches until two months ago, beating the no.5 seed Tsitsipas and getting into the quarter finals.  I'm expecting a cracking match this evening between Alcaraz and Berrettini - two of my favourite players.

At one point our public right of way was blocked by works on the Hornsea Three Windfarm Project as the onshore cable is being laid. A workman's sole role seemed to be to move a barrier if safe for us to cross. I've added a collage in Extras in case you're interested to see the temporary impact this is having on the landscape - photos at top taken either side of our path. The onshore cable corridor is typically 50m wide and the cable route is over 50km long.
