Seen better days

I went out for an early morning walk to get the 10K steps in before starting the day. As I wended my way through the community fields I spotted this ball which had well and truly seen better days.

Ian had a good first day in Portsmouth and it looks like there is plenty there for him to explore, when he is not getting to grips with the new job.  He is working there again on Tuesday and then he will be home for the rest of the week.

It turned out that I had picked the right time of the day for plodding as we had some really heavy rain later in the day.  It set of a car alarm somewhere close-ish that then wiled for a few hours.
