A Day Worth Recording

Metameeting

Our Quaker Meeting has a few practical problems, not least who is going to take over from E and I when our periods of service come to an end at the end of the year.

We arranged a meeting to consider the future of the Meeting.  The region's Local Development Worker (a role intended to help Meetings work through such issues) came along to facilitate.

It was well attended, we suspect helped by an informal setting at our place rather than the relatively austere Meeting House. A lot of breaking up into small groups and flipcharts about dreams and positives, none of which felt overly useful in coming up with anything resembling a solution; certainly not a radical one that we probably need.
