This Is A Blue Butterfly

Not a great shot. I've cut a bit off its wing and it's obscured by a grass stem. It flew off/blew off before I could better the image. I wanted to post it as I don't often spot a brown argus. Even though they're brown they are classed as blues. A hint of blue can be seen on its body.

Argus makes me think of newspapers. Argus was a giant in Greek mythology with a hundred eyes. After he was killed by Hermes his eyes were transferred to the peacock's tail. I'm guessing the brown argus was given the name because of the orange eye-shaped markings on its wings.
