Female Blackbird ( Turdus merula )

A day of helping Kat round the house and garden, not to mention a lot of relaxing.  Both sides of the house are covered in Wisteria.  A Blackbird usually nests in the branches at the front.  This year they have chosen to use the back of the house.  The bird feeders make a convenient perch as they visit the nest.
