Tennessee Vacation ...

… home at last.

After yesterday’s overly long day of travel I’m hoping for a much better day today.  Our travel time today should only be about 5 hours depending on the traffic.  And thankfully, it wasn’t much more than that.

We left our hotel around 9:00 am and got home (even after stopping at Costco) just after 3:00 pm.  It was great to pull into the driveway and be home.  The cats were as glad to see us as we were to see them.  Missed them lots.

You would think that we would take it easy for the rest of the day … but after supper we headed over to Housenick Memorial park of a lovely walk.

We (I’m only assuming Richard, too) really had a wonderful vacation in Tennessee.  We did lots of fun things and met some wonderful people.  But it’s great to be home … And I’m grateful for a safe trip all around.

Our vacation by the numbers:
Miles driven ~ 2,062
Pictures taken ~ 1,561 with three different cameras plus smartphone.
License plate seen from the furthest distance ~ Albert, Canada.  We also saw plates from Texas, Kentucky, Alabama, Missouri, Minnesota, Kansas, California, etc.

Backblipped: July 18, 2023 …. Finally, finally, finally!
