Fronds

On sunny days I like to walk around the garden as the sun is lowering, looking for anything that might be highlighted such as the fronds of this fern. This wasn't going to be my blip. I was planning a mush of colour with the poppies, irises and alliums. One of the roses is out too so the garden is almost at its best. I have about a dozen different ferns dotted around the garden and used to have them all named but the tags have long since disappeared.
