Movement Challenge results

Thank you for your varied and interesting interpretations of Movement for the July community challenge! This made for an inspiring and beautiful collection of pictures.

Our cover winner is ChrisF's fascinating Hummingbird hawk moth, who just pipped JennyOwen's running fox to the post.

Movement in nature was in abundance, particularly birds in flight, including these dive bombing gannets, an adorable robin and dbifulco's crystal clear hummingbird. Insects also caught your eye, we love how Mayisle captured the busyness of this bumblebee. Man's best friend was often on the move too.

Sports and activity spotters gave us the likes of a strike at the bowling alley, a game of ultimate Frisbee and the unstoppable energy of a child in flight. Summer celebrations included family fun, and children playing in fountains.

Next month's challenge will be slightly later into August to tie in with World Photography Day/Week, so look out for news of that.
